Superior Essex Communications has been manufacturing and selling 22 AWG cable suitable for use in Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) applications for several years now.
However, since we do not connectorize and install cables ourselves – and warranties have not been provided for lengths in excess of 100 meters – we have little insight into the number of completed installations that have utilized PoE technology and products for this purpose.
So, with your help, we are now cataloging them. Share with us your completed PoE installations, and we will provide each of the first 5 verified projects a $2,000 cash reward in exchange!
To qualify for the $2,000 reward, your PoE project can use cable from ANY MANUFACTURER – yes, ANY MANUFACTURER, not just Superior Essex cable – and must meet the following criteria:
Utilize TIA Category 3 through Category 6A 22 AWG twisted pair (UTP) cable
Be installed prior to March 2015
Be used for PoE applications (VoIP phones, security cameras, lights, etc.)
Have an installed permanent link length in excess of 100 meters
