Sheryl's Human Story

In May 2018, Sheryl volunteered to teach 60 Hoisington High School students the basics of tensile and elongation testing in our lab. However, the teaching materials didn’t exist. Sheryl took it upon herself to create a presentation about all the products used in the Hoisington plant and the science behind tensile and elongation testing.

She led three separate sessions for three classes. Not only did she represent Superior Essex well, Sheryl boosted the educational experience for these students and taught the students how science works in action.
