Sustainability Training to Latin America
Superior Essex Communications and Regenerative Built Environment Enter Partnership to Bring Sustainability Training to Latin America
ATLANTA, GA — Superior Essex Communications, a leading manufacturer of communications cables in North America, and Regenerative Built Environment Institute (REGENBE), a regenerative development and design consulting and certification firm in Costa Rica, have partnered to deliver sustainability training throughout the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region.
The first training session — “Quantum Leap 2030: La Urgencia del Salto Cualitativo en Sostenibilidad de los Materiales” — will be delivered by Victor Montero-Dien, CEO of REGENBE on October 19 in Santa Ana, Costa Rica, during the BICSI ICT Forum event taking place that day. For more information on the event please visit latamred.com/ictforumcostarica22.
This partnership expands the community of sustainability-focused companies in the CALA region by delivering sustainability training to local architects, consultants, engineers, and other building and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) professionals. The lessons that have been created by Superior Essex will be translated into Spanish and presented by REGENBE. This provides expanded sustainability education and expertise to the CALA region in the local language which is of great value to the booming building industry in the region.
“We’re seeking partnerships with companies who want to lead sustainability initiatives in technology to meet the ICT demands of today and the future,” explains Paul Weintraub, head of international business for Superior Essex Communications. “Superior Essex views REGENBE as trailblazers and change-makers not just in the sustainability industry, but in the building and community planning industries. We’re pleased to join forces with them.”
“At REGENBE, we only align ourselves with companies that are trailblazers in sustainability,” said Victor Montero-Dien, CEO of REGENBE. “Superior Essex believes that the technology that interconnects the world should also respect it. This directly aligns with our purpose of collaborative facilitation in regenerative development and design, health and well-being through vitalizing the person and place. That is why this collaborative partnership is important to us.”
“Superior Essex continuously looks for ways to sustainably innovate for the future,” said Annie Bevan, global head of sustainability for Superior Essex. “Because the building industry has a profound impact on climate, health, and the ecosystem, we and REGENBE want to help like-minded change-makers shift the way we think about building design and communications technologies to alleviate our negative effects on the planet and its people.”
Superior Essex provides ongoing sustainability training in the Middle East and is now expanding this training into the CALA region. REGENBE is a pioneer in the sustainability industry and macrosystem analysis and works with regional contractors to integrate social, environmental, and productive systems into building projects.
